    • QueryIO is a integrated and optimized stack of software and services for querying, analyzing and visualizing your Big Data. QueryIO enables you to query your unstructured Big Data using standard SQL. QueryIO enables you to leverage standard RDBMS technologies for your Big Data Analytics needs.

    • What database would you recommend with QueryIO ?

    • QueryIO ships with PostgreSQL. It should be sufficient for most users. However, QueryIO works with any database with a JDBC driver. MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc. work with QueryIO

    • Does QueryIO run on Windows ?

    • No, QueryIO is not supported on Windows...yet. While a development build of Hadoop is available for Windows, Apache does not provide production builds for Windows. However, recent developments suggest a Windows version of Hadoop may be forthcoming. We are aware a large set of users want to run QueryIO on Windows, and are committed to supporting QueryIO on Windows as soon as Hadoop is supported on Windows.
