Big Data Browser
In this chapter
This chapter explains how to access data stored on the cluster and perform operations on data.
How to access data
Data Browser is a file explorer. It allows you to access all the directories and files stored in QueryIO.
Files and folders displayed are retrieved from all the DataNodes in the cluster. By default, data browser shows all the files and directories in root directory i.e "/" and allows you
to access files or navigate through the directories.
Using Data Browser, you can also download files from HDFS to your local file system.
Data Browser Details
Data browser displays various details about file and directories:
- NameNode: The data from the cluster belonging to the selected namenode will be displayed.
- Contents of Directory: It displays the path of the current directory being accessed. By default, it is "/". But as you navigate through the directories, it gets updated and displays the path of the current directory.
You can click on any directory in the path to access it.
