Introduction

Following services are integrated with QueryIO.

• FTP / Secure FTP Server
• S3 Compatible Server

To view the service details, goto Admin > QueryIO Services. All services related to each NameNode are displayed in groups.

All services are installed along with NameNode and started automatically.

Following details about services are displayed:

• QueryIO Services: Name of the service supported.
• Host: Host machine on which service is installed.
• Status: State of the service as "Started" or "Stopped"
• Server Log: Click on View Log to view Server Log.

FTP / Secure FTP Server

This identifies FTP server which works on top of HDFS. It allows you to connect to HDFS using any FTP client. It also allows to use secure connection over SSL.

To connect to HDFS through FTP client, use following details:

• Server: IP address of the host machine on which service is installed.
• User Name: This is the user name of QueryIO server.
• Password: This is the password of the above provided QueryIO account user name.
• Port: Port number on which HDFS over FTP server is working. Default port in 5660.

S3 Compatible Server

QueryIO provides service to access HDFS through S3 compatible REST API. Click on service name to view details about service.

Start/Stop Service

QueryIO provides service to start or stop services on a particular NameNode.

Select the NameNode and click on "Start" or "Stop" to perform respective operation.
